The DAISSy research team of the Hellenic Open University organizes an event dedicated to the training of museum professionals and the development of digital skills. The event is part of the European Mu.SA project and will take place on Monday 24 June 2019 in Athens. In the event will be participation with speeches of the Hellenic Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the IEK AKMI, partners of the Mu.SA project.
During the event, the certificates will be awarded to those students who have successfully completed the MOOC called Essential Skills for Museum Professionals, which was developed as part of the project and successfully distributed to more than 5,000 professionals museums and culture worldwide.
In addition, the program of the event includes presentations of the project results and the MOOC, information on the new professional profiles produced by the project, and presentations by museum executives about their needs and information on the next training actions, the 4 Specialization courses, one for each profile, which will start in September 2019 in Greece, Italy and Portugal and will include workplace learning.
