The challenges of digital skills for museum sector. Identification of needs oriented to the structure of museum professionals’ formation & training.
Shortly after the start of the Mu.SA Project, a brainstorming journey was held at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of U.PORTO (FLUP), Portugal, as an initiative of the Masters in Museology (MMUS). Besides disseminating the project, it aimed to promote a friendly networking environment, grounding synergies between the Portuguese partners, motivating them to jointly think on and discuss about the challenges in the area of digital technologies that are identified in the Portuguese museums sector but framing them on the international scale, in the sense of promoting useful contributions to the adjusted design of the educational and training programmes foreseen.
