Mu.SA s’attaque directement à la pénurie des compétences numériques et transférables ayant été explicitement identifiées comme nécessaires à l’évolution du secteur muséal lors de la phase d’analyse du projet eCult Skills. Ce projet avait été financé dans le cadre du Programme d'éducation et de formation tout au long de la vie - Lifelong Learning Programme (2013-2015).
Les résultats du projet bénéficieront directement aux professionnels de musée et aux chômeurs du secteur culturel, ainsi qu’aux musées eux-mêmes. Indirectement, le projet contribuera à améliorer la qualité de vie du grand public en permettant aux musées d'offrir des expériences culturelles améliorées.
